Turbine Lancair IV-P
Our IV-PT project is off the ground! The plane flys great and we are
getting ready for final paint. Click any image below for a bigger

This is the current state of our Turbine Lancair IV-P project. The
body work is
essentially done. 90% of the bugs in the avionics and systems have
been worked out and we are getting ready for taxi tests. The
interior is being put together and final bits are being assembled.

Here is a shot of the panel. The hole in the center is for a backup
Dynon EFIS. The bottom row of switches on both sides are just
waiting for the aluminum inserts to be fabricated. This will greatly
clean up the installation of the switches and heater controls.

The cowl will have no visible fasteners when completed. It is held
in place using
Carbhinge just like a traditional piston engine installation.
There are pins running both forward and aft from the exhaust stack
opening. If you have any questions at all regarding
this project or any part of it, send e-mail to info.wings "at" innovativewings.com
We are more than glad to share our experiences, challenges and
solutions. |
